Nurse in Phoenix

I am a nurse here in Phoenix petitioned by my employer 2 years ago for immigration. My petition has been approved but am still waiting for my change of status to permanent residence. Are there nurses out there who had been in my situation where I now want to change employer and how will this affect my approved petition for immigration (I140)?
