"Philippine Ethnic Dances are ancient in origin, contemporaneous, and occur in amazing diversity as it is performed by a variety of ethnic groups throughout the 7,100 islands in the Philippines."

We are talking about Tinikling, Muslim Dance, and the Pandanggo.

Wouldn't it be refreshing to catch a glimpse of where we came from?

First is the Tinikling, a Filipino folk dance, often dubbed the Philippine National Dance, and the most famous of all Philippine folk dances. The dance originated in Leyte as an imitation of the movements of the "tikling" bird dodging bamboo traps set by rice farmers.

The Pandanggo sa Ilaw is the Filipino folk dance that originally was created from the song of the same title. The old folk song was created in the 1970s.
