Papaya Kojic Acid Soap

Papaya Kojic Acid Soap

Hello. I have many questions about the papaya soap that I need answered. I hope you will answer them all. :) Okay, I bought the Papaya soap. I used it on my body one day, then, the next day i used it on my body. I have some peeling (actually a lot of peeling) especially in the creases of my body. Is that a good thing? And why does it burn where I peel? Is that good? I don't scrub my face/body with any type of loofah. I just use my fingertips--gently. I rested from using the soap after this too. And when I used the soap again, my skin still burned. What am I doing wrong? On the places where I peel, can I peel my skin off manually--like with my fingers? Also, I read the page on this website about how to use this soap, but I didn't quite understand well. Will you give me a step by step process on how to use the papaya soap please? And the last question: do these products get rid of tans?

Hi there, the Dermaline papaya soap has a more potent formula than other commercial papaya soaps in the market, that's why some users experience peeling in 3 days or less. As a general rule, use like regular bath soaps leaving on skin for 1-2 minutes for the first week to test skin sensitivity. On the second week, you can increase the leave-on time to 5 minutes. You will experience peeling, burning, mild irritation or redness because fresher lighter skin is resurfacing due to the active ingredients. Do NOT overuse, because most tend to think that overusing will hasten the results. This is NOT true.

If burning or irritation is uncomfortable, lessen the leave-on time or use the soap like 2-3x a week only. Just like other exfoliating products, it may cause burning, itching, peeling, redness and irritation due to the active ingredients. Exfoliation or peeling is an essential part of the skin whitening process. Continue with the regimen once the burning subsides.

To use as a shaving foam, lather and leave on skin as directed. If ready to shave, wet skin to lather up the dried foam again then shave gently. Rinse.

You're right in using your fingers gently to wash off (not manually peel) the peeling skin while in the shower. Just rest skin from usage if the burning sensation becomes uncomfortable. You'll know how you should decrease the usage depending on your skin's sensitivity to the product. But if excessive irritation occurs, discontinue use of the product.

Yes, our skin lighteners - soap, lotion or cream - can get rid of a skin tan.

Hope this gives you a better idea. :-)
