The barrel-cactus-shaped stadium will host Arizona Cardinals home games, Tostitos Bowl, BCS National Championship Game, ball games, concerts, shows, and soon will host the Super Bowl XLII. It can accommodate between 63,000-73,000 seats with 88 luxury suites, 7400 club seats, 77 restrooms, 25,000 on-site and adjacent parking slots, plus more.

According to BusinessWeek, the University of Phoenix Stadium is one of the world’s 10 most impressive sports facilities, the only one in North America.

Glendale’s 100-year history can be attributed to water and transportation.

The Arizona Canal and Roosevelt Dam gave birth to fertile soil and gives a steady water supply that made Glendale a major producer of lettuce, melons, sugar beets and cotton.The city is a major suburb of Phoenix.
