Arizona is USA’s Grand Canyon State, located in the southwest just east of California and just north of the Mexican Border. It is most known for the Grand Canyon, but the state also has so much landscape diversities and a wide variety of climates. In Arizona, you can water ski one day and enjoy snow skiing the next!

The Grand Canyon State typifies the Southwest and exhibits a colorful Native American Indian (it is home to the largest Indian reservations in the USA) heritage mixed with a strong Spanish legacy.

Arizona has a total of five airports – two international (Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Tucson International Airport) and three local airports (Williams Gateway Airport in Mesa, Prescott Municipal Airport, and Scottsdale Airport).

Are you rich? Ahh! Neither am I . But if you own a private aircraft, you can fly directly to Sedona’s private airport which is open from 8am-5pm between October to March, and 7am-6pm between April to September. From there is a car rental inside the terminal for your convenience.

By car, you’ll be driving from east or west, Interstate 10 is the most common route into Phoenix. I-8 is best if you’re coming from the west, entering Arizona at Yuma. Remember, during summer driving, it's always a good idea to take along extra water for trips through the desert regions.
