Dolan Springs-Arizona

333 miles from Phoenix, Dolan Springs-Arizona is a desert community at the foot of 6,900-ft Mount Tipton in the Cerbat Mountains in west central Mohave County.

The Mohave County has an estimated 1,000 miles of fresh water shoreline, a beautiful 550 mile shoreline lake offering bass, catfish and trout fishing, boating, and other forms of water recreation near the property.

The Pierce Ferry Road, beyond the community itself, is paved to South Cove toward the eastern end of Lake Mead, a man-made lake created by the construction of Hoover Dam.

The town is just 70 miles southeast of Las Vegas and 70 miles northeast of Laughlin, Nevada. As such, several forms of water recreation can be enjoyed.

Gold mines, rock hunting and the Las Vegas attraction add to Dolan Spring’s tourism.

Tour buses can take you to the West side of the Grand Canyon daily.

The slopes of Huvalapai Mountains offer picnicking and hunting.

Dolan Springs, rest home of the largest Joshua Tree Forests, hosts Dolan Days regularly, a Wild West. One of the world’s largest Joshua Tree Forests is located in the Lake Mohave Ranchos in the Dolan Springs area.

There are also gold mines, rock hunting and the attraction of Las Vegas, Nevada.
