Charity Donation
Please take a moment to read this charity donation page.This Good Deeds page was created as a nonprofit endeavor dedicated to a timely relief and disaster response for the Philippines.The natural calamities that lately struck the Philippines had a big thump on the government, the affected families and communities, overseas Filipinos, including me. Poor families’ shattered dreams of even a simple livelihood and normalcy are taken away from them, needing charity donation. I come from the Philippines. My country is disaster-stricken. Recent 2006 news alone reported incidents of:- Landslide in Southern Leyte burying more than 1,000 people;
- Oil spill in Guimaras;
- Typhoons Caloy, Henry, 160 mph Milenyo (super international typhoon Xangsane) killing 40 people and causing a blackout to nearly half the Philippine population; Paeng (or Cimaron) blew houses away and killed 30 individuals, Seniang, and the most severe Reming (known as Durian internationally) triggering mudslides along the famous perfect-cone Mount Mayon volcano, Bicol burying several villages.
Thousands have been killed and families lost their homes. I can’t describe how decimating and painful these tragedies have caused the underprivileged, including the children.

It’s all over the world – lands hit by tsunamis, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, what more is there NOT to ask for? Portraying such image in mind for your own flesh and blood is unimaginable. If you have children of my own, you couldn’t bear to see them wandering around with no food to eat. Or see them cold without warm clothes. Worse, with no home. Could you? You know, if we can only personally extend our charity donation to the afflicted, isn't it heartwarming to see how they will respond with a smile? Instead of just shaking our heads and watching how sorry we feel for them, let’s make a difference in their lives. You'll make a difference in yours, too. :-) As a UNICEF volunteer, this charity donation page is a call for voluntary and heartfelt compassion for the victims of natural calamities . As you know, UNICEF has always given humanitarian assistance all over the world for decades now. We all believe in UNICEF’s efforts for crisis situations. Their round-the-clock work has resulted in significant improvements for the lives of families, especially the most disadvantaged children. Just $5 can provide an emergency health kit for one person for three months. They need water, food, safe water, sanitation, education and more. What each and every one of you can give can demonstrate what we can achieve if we all come together. There are needy people out there. Let’s care. Let’s share. You can donate in two ways: For Philippine charity donation, you can donate directly thru this link below:
 SUPPORT UNICEF'S EMERGENCY RELIEF FOR THE PHILIPPINES As an option for some people who may not have time to fill up forms or read instructions, and just want to help out, you can safely do that thru the Paypal donation button below: For Paypal donations, I will post each of your names/donations on this charity donation page to serve as an inspiration to all of us. Collected amounts per week will be donated on the same UNICEF link provided above. And I will take care of filling up the forms for you.
God bless you and the Philippines.
