Buckeye-Arizona
Fondly called Arizona’s biggest “small town”, Buckeye-Arizona has a master plan for development that will take it to world-class retail, entertainment, health care, education and employment advancement.  Intersected by 5 highways, home to a general aviation airport, and served by a railroad, makes Buckeye strategically accessible from multiple directions. Located just 35 miles west of Phoenix, city progress is not far behind. Buckeye-Arizona is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. 
The population was 6,537 at the 2000 census and is estimated at nearly 30,000 in mid-2006, making it a very rapidly-growing town. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 377.5 km² (145.8 mi²), all land. Metropolitan city life is an advantage to residents, who return to the quiet comforts of their home. Recreational activities include youth and adult sports, special events, special interest classes, aquatic programs, senior/adult programs and teen events. Buckeye has also one of the finest Olympic size swimming and diving pools in Arizona, the Aquatic Center, home of the “Bull Frogs” team. The Center has lots of summer programs. Currently there are over 240,000 homes planned in Buckeye. Given the size and number of the master planned developments within the Town limits, the population will explode to over 100,000 by the year 2010.
