About Us
 About us looking back, when my family asked me to make the ‘Big Decision’ to come to the USA, I too had the same Filipino dream of a better-paying job and more comfortable way of living. As I joined the Filipino community in Arizona on November 2001 with an immigrant visa, I thought it was very timely leaving behind a then shaky Philippine economy. A full-time job was not difficult to find. Fact is, it didn’t take me even 2 weeks to get employed, especially in downtown Phoenix where this state’s capital is on the rapid rise to solid progress and development. A decent employment was the start of the fulfillment of my American dream.  Our old home in Makati City is nothing different from the rest. Constructed along a narrow two-way street, barraged by the noises of pedestrians, vendors, tricycles, and jeepneys. Already in middle age, unmarried, and armed with a Bachelor Degree, life seemed stagnant like my dead-end job. Coupled with a desire for a bright future, I was ready for the biggest gamble of my life, and put my immigration papers in order (I deliberately delayed working on it because I didn’t wanna go then). I was ready to leave my girlfriend, who supported my aspiration but was heartbroken. But we both believed that the will to succeed would compensate for the lack of resources and cognition. I intended to return after saving money, marry her, and retire back in the Philippines after 2 years. Or so I thought.
Now settled in Phoenix, Arizona... married to my lovely wife, Maria (aka "Tess", whom I stayed loyal to.. "ehem po")... With a stable job... A beautiful home... with Filipinos in Phoenix.. A ‘new me’... Who could be happier?  Filipinos in Arizona are growing, and our family is part of the happy Pinoy community. Whatever you need, there is always a good soul to ask around for help.
